NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that an annual election will be held in the City of Memphis on April 2, 2019, at which election all registered voters residing within the City of Memphis will be given the opportunity to vote. Officers to be elected are: one Alderman in the East Ward for a term of two years; one Alderman in the West Ward for a term of two years; and one City Marshal for a term of three years to fill an unexpired term. Opening date to file for the office of Alderman or City Marshal will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and closing date to file will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Candidates shall file for office with the City Clerk at Memphis City Hall, 125 W. Jefferson, Memphis, Missouri during regular business hours, excluding holidays.
