NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Memphis, Missouri will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 11th, 2019, at 5:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, AND that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Memphis, Missouri, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at 5:15 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at 125 W. Jefferson Street, Memphis, MO 63555, which both hearings shall be for public comment on and consideration of certain amendments to the City’s Chapter 405 (the “Zoning Code”), which include updates and clarifications due to the recodification of the Municipal Code of City of Memphis, Missouri (the “City Code”), and shall also include a whole new article on Wireless Communications Facilities.

Both hearings are open to the public and any person may attend to be heard. The proposed recodification and new article amendments are available for public inspection at Memphis City Hall, 125 W. Jefferson Street, Memphis, MO 63555 during normal business hours. Persons needing special assistance may contact Angela Newman, City Clerk, at (660) 465-7285 prior to the date of the hearing.
